UK LTD Company

UK COMPANY FORMATION

PRIVATE LIMITED COMPANY – OR LTD FORMATION

private limited company, or LTD, is a type of privately held small business entity. This type of business entity limits owner liability to their shares, limits the number of shareholders to 50, and restricts shareholders from publicly trading shares. A LTD company is generally held by family members, or other like minded business partners – even by just one person.

PUBLIC LIMITED COMPANY – OR PLC FORMATION

A public limited company is a limited liability company whose shares may be freely sold and traded to the public . That does not mean it is owned by the Public. This plc may also be privately held, with a minimum share capital of £50,000 and the letters PLC after its name instead of the LTD of a Private company. A PLC may remain in its formation status forever, or when the time is right graduate to being a Public company – even listed on a stock exchange.

We can assist with either type of limited company. If you consider the PUBLIC company is what you need we would welcome your questions on our capability to service your long term needs.

At this point I should clarify the meaning of the words PUBLIC and PRIVATE. These words do not relate to information. They only relate to the ownership. The basic records of company name, shareholders, directors and annual reports are all available for the public to view on the Companies Office website.

The pricing and text below deal with the formation of an English PRIVATE company. If you prefer your company to be Registered in Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland please check with us for your pricing. It could be a little different.
